Job Description:

Step into an experienced acute care Main OR setting in Thousand Oaks, California, supporting surgical cases across multiple service lines. This travel contract is designed for an acute care OR RN who can comfortably handle advanced procedures and collaborate with a coordinated operating room team, including anesthesia techs, orderlies, ORTs, and unit coordination support. You’ll work 12-hour day shifts with two RN coverage blocks (0645-1915) plus one RN shift (1030-2300), and you may be scheduled for some call and weekend participation.

The OR environment features a modern technology focus, including an Xi robot, with procedures covering all areas except transplants. Experience with trauma and robotics is preferred, and total joints experience/certification is a plus. Your documentation will be completed using Meditech, and you’ll meet required readiness with BLS and ACLS.

Expect mild, comfortable days with plenty of sunshine and cooler evenings. Coastal breezes and generally dry conditions make for easy commuting and outdoor time between shifts.
