Job Description:

Join a fast-paced post-surgical care unit at Aspirus Wausau Hospital for a 13-week contract as a registered nurse. This position involves providing care to adult and geriatric patients recovering from surgery, with a focus on pre- and post-operative needs in a 40-bed inpatient setting. You'll handle a variety of cases, manage multiple priorities, and work a 12-hour night shift schedule that rotates to include days and weekends. Expect an engaging environment where you'll be expected to efficiently prioritize patient needs and collaborate with a dedicated team. The assignment offers guaranteed 36 hours per week, with a flexible schedule during low census periods, and requires recent hospital experience, trauma level II expertise, and proficiency with Epic EMR and medication scanning equipment.
