Job Description:

Join the night shift team as a Medical-Surgical RN on a travel contract in Jasper, Indiana. This role supports a fast-moving adult med/surg unit where you’ll care for a wide mix of surgical and medical diagnoses, including orthopedic procedures (TKR/THR/TSR), back surgeries, abdominal surgeries, SBO, infections, osteomyelitis, AKIs, and urology cases. The assignment runs on 12-hour nights (7p–7a), with a weekly commitment of 36 hours for 13 weeks.

You’ll be working in a unit built on teamwork and collaboration, with an experienced nursing team that helps keep agency nurses set up for success. Charting is completed in Epic (Epic experience preferred), and you should be prepared to float to other med/surg-like departments as needed. Flexibility is key—call-back/on-call expectations can vary and weekends/holidays may be discussed (for example, coverage may be needed around July 4th or Labor Day, but this is not guaranteed).
