Job Description:

Join our team as an Operating Room Nurse in Northampton, MA, for a 13-week contract that offers a blend of circulating and first assisting responsibilities. This role involves working four 10-hour shifts each week, with a schedule that includes on-call duties two evenings and one weekend every three weeks—specifically, Saturday and Sunday. The weekend call shifts run for 24 hours, providing a chance to experience a dynamic work environment. You'll assist surgeons under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, helping throughout various operative procedures, sometimes circulating and sometimes scrubbing, requiring proficiency in both. Prior peri-operative nursing experience, including first assisting and circulating skills, is essential for success in this position. The position may accept a conditional license for initial employment, offering a flexible start for qualified candidates.
