Job Description:

This 12-week contract positions you as a Respiratory Therapy Technologist in a busy trauma center in Columbus, GA. The role involves working the nightly 12-hour shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, providing critical respiratory support to a diverse patient population—from infants to geriatrics. You'll manage non-invasive and invasive ventilation, perform arterial lines, analyze blood gases, and assist with bedside pulmonary tests. The facility is well-equipped with systems like Epic and Viasys Vela, and offers an environment where your trauma experience and pulmonary skills are essential. Unique to this assignment is the opportunity to work across different units within a Level 2 trauma center, with occasional floating to sister campuses as needed. Previous trauma experience is required, and familiarity with pulmonary function testing is preferred. Expect a demanding but rewarding setting that challenges your technical expertise and adaptability.
