Job Description:

Join this fast-paced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as a Registered Nurse and experience a role that keeps you engaged and on your toes. You'll be responsible for providing patient care on dayshift, working in a unit with an estimated patient ratio of 1:3. The position involves floating within units of similar or lower acuity levels, offering a variety of clinical scenarios. The schedule is set at 3 shifts of 12 hours each, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with some weekends involved. This assignment is perfect for nurses with at least two years of experience in critical care settings, especially those familiar with conscious sedation, vents, telemetry, and EPIC charting. BCLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications are preferred to ensure you’re fully prepared for the responsibilities you'll take on. It’s a chance to sharpen your skills and immerse yourself in an environment that values your expertise while enjoying the rhythm of days off between shifts.
