Job Description:

This CVOR Registered Nurse position is an engaging circulating role focused on advanced cardiovascular surgery procedures, including heart & lung transplants, aortic dissections, and ECMO. You'll work in a fast-paced operating room environment, primarily during 10-hour shifts, providing essential support during complex surgeries. The assignment includes floating to other OR specialties as needed, with guaranteed weekly hours based on your shift pattern. The unique aspect of this role is the opportunity to earn charge pay, adding a $3.00/hr bump, and to participate in a schedule that involves working 2-3 major holidays. Expect to handle around 100 hours over 6 weeks, with occasional call coverage on weekends. Candidates should have at least 2 years of CVOR RN experience, BLS certification, and valid Indiana licensure or appropriate compact/travel licenses in hand before starting. This role offers a great chance to sharpen perioperative skills in a leading hospital setting, while contributing to high-stakes cardiovascular surgeries.
