Job Description:

This position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse specializing in transplant surgeries within a busy acute care facility in Indianapolis. The role involves working 12-hour day shifts on weekends and rotating weekdays, focusing exclusively on abdominal transplants such as kidney, pancreas, liver, and intestinal/multi-visceral procedures. The nurse will be responsible for pre-screening patients, assisting during surgeries, and ensuring smooth perioperative workflows. Experience with liver transplant recipient procedures is essential, and familiarity with Cerner charting is preferred. The assignment offers an engaging opportunity to deepen expertise in transplant surgery while working in a supportive environment with free parking and a workweek totaling 36 hours.
