Job Description:

Join a fast-paced, high-acuity telemetry and PCU unit as a Registered Nurse on a 12-hour night shift for a 13-week contract. You'll be responsible for managing patients with respiratory issues such as COPD exacerbations, pneumonia, and COVID-19, often involving ventilator management with CPAP or BiPAP, chest tubes, and telemetry monitoring. This role offers a unique chance to work alongside skilled respiratory therapists and nurse leaders in a 48-bed unit that handles a mix of acuity levels, including ventilated and chronic trach/vent patients. The workload requires independence, attention to detail, and proficiency in IV starts, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency procedures. You'll navigate a demanding but rewarding environment where teamwork keeps patients stable and safe.
