Job Description:

Join a community hospital in Fishers, Indiana, as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse on a 12-hour night shift. This 13-week contract offers the chance to work in the hospital's sole MedSurg unit, caring for patients transferred from OR, ED, or downgrades from ICU/PCU. Expect to admit 8-12 patients over your shift, with a patient-to-staffing ratio mostly at 5:1, occasionally flexing to 6:1. You will be responsible for medication administration, patient monitoring, and documentation, with occasional duties across ICU/PCU or ED holds. The role requires a minimum of two years of recent experience, BLS certification, and NIHSS preferred. First-time travelers are welcome, but in-state licenses and current certifications must be in hand to submit.
