Job Description:

Join an engaging 13-week travel contract as a registered nurse on a specialized medical-surgical stepdown unit in Cincinnati. This role involves caring for patients with acute cardiac conditions, including MI, arrhythmias, and CHF, in a dedicated stroke and cardiac monitoring environment. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, providing a great opportunity to experience the gentle rhythm of nocturnal nursing. You'll be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care based on the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and ANA code of ethics. This assignment emphasizes teamwork with support staff performing ADLs, glucose testing, and EKGs, while you focus on cardiac monitoring, infusion therapies, and central line care.
