Job Description:

Join a compassionate team as a Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse in Columbus, Ohio. This role offers a chance to work on a specialized oncology unit, focusing on patients with diagnoses such as lymphoma, multiple myeloma, leukemias, sickle cell disease, and other non-hem cancers. You will be responsible for administering chemotherapy, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, and managing oncologic emergencies like tumor lysis syndrome and cytokine release syndrome. The shift is a 12-hour rotating schedule, providing a balanced mix of days and nights, with orientation starting with a Monday to Friday dayshift followed by unit-specific training. Floating to other Med/Surg and Oncology units may be required, making each shift both challenging and rewarding. This assignment is an excellent opportunity for nurses with or without Hematology Oncology experience to deepen their skills and contribute to patient recovery in a dynamic hospital setting.
