Job Description:

This PCU RN contract on the 4th Floor East Wing offers a hands-on opportunity to work with adult and pediatric patients (15 and older) in a 55-bed facility. The role involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and quick thinking are essential. You'll alternate between day and night 12-hour shifts, covering a variety of diagnoses, including CVA, TIA, COVID, and subdural hematomas. The unit emphasizes responsiveness and hourly rounding, with support staff such as educators, care managers, and therapists backing you up. If you thrive managing multiple priorities and enjoy working with a close-knit team, this assignment is a great fit.

Candidates must possess ACLS and BLS certifications, and be familiar with telemetry and the use of EPIC EMR systems. During orientation, you'll complete a pass/fail skills exam, receiving all necessary resources to succeed. Artificial nails are prohibited, and a valid driver’s license is required for submission to verify your proximity within 50 miles of Omaha, NE. This assignment is 13 weeks long, with a scheduled weekly gross pay of approximately $2,081.73. Be prepared to support a variety of support staff and adapt to occasional float opportunities to medical-surgical areas.
