Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Pre-Op and PACU unit as a Registered Nurse specializing in surgical recovery. This 13-week contract offers a 12-hour day shift, with variable start times based on case schedules, and requires proficient experience in Pre-Op and PACU settings. You'll be responsible for caring for a diverse patient population, including pediatrics and geriatrics, in a busy environment supported by tech staff. The role demands flexibility, as you'll float between Pre-Op and Post-Op units and may occasionally cover outpatient surgeries or same-day procedures. Expect to handle complex procedures, including robotic surgeries and total joint replacements, with a focus on rapid recovery and patient safety. This assignment is perfect for an RN familiar with EPIC, with a solid background in ER, ICU, or PACU, seeking a dynamic surgical recovery experience without first-time traveler requirements.
