Job Description:

Join our team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Battle Creek, Michigan. This position involves working the night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) in a 15-bed LDRP unit that includes antepartum, labor and delivery, OR circulating, scrub duties, and newborn care. You will gain experience managing all areas of the LDRP, including triage and couplet care, while following AWHONN staffing guidelines. The assignment offers a mix of hands-on procedures such as lab draws and newborn hearing screens, with scrub duties preferred but not required. Expect to provide coverage in a busy, fast-paced environment with a focus on maternal and newborn health, and enjoy floating to Bronson Methodist in Kalamazoo when needed. This role requires prior OB, Mother/Baby, and L&D experience, with certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and NRP.
