Job Description:

Join a rewarding NICU Registered Nurse contract at a respected acute care hospital in Los Angeles. This role involves caring for newborns in a Level III NICU setting, primarily during 12-hour day shifts. The position requires providing specialized post-birth baby care including assessments, vitals, skin-to-skin contact, breastfeeding support, and routine labs. You may also have the opportunity to float to nursery or transition roles during high delivery volumes, assisting with the early care of newborns beyond initial birth. The shift schedule is three 12-hour days per week, offering a balanced workweek. Charting is done in Epic, and familiarity with this system is preferred. The facility welcomes first-time travelers and accommodates a flexible schedule based on staffing needs. All candidates must have at least 2 years of NICU experience, current BCLS and NRP certifications, and valid licensing. This assignment provides a vibrant urban environment with a mix of professional activity and opportunities to explore nearby attractions.
