Job Description:

Join the Surgical Services team at Nebraska Medical Center as a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) on a 13-week contract. This role involves working 10-hour daytime shifts from 07:00 to 17:00, with a weekly commitment of 40 hours. The surgical tech will assist in 60-80 cases daily across 30 rooms, supporting procedures in general, trauma, vascular, endoscopic, colorectal, and gastro robotic surgeries, with DaVinci experience highly preferred. The position offers a mix of scheduled shifts, occasional night shift rotations, and flexibility for off-shifting once every four weeks. Night call duties occur 1-2 nights per week, and weekend call is required approximately every 4-5 weekends. Experience in Level 1 trauma settings, vascular, and endoscopic procedures is essential, along with BLS certification. This assignment provides an excellent opportunity to work in a top-rated hospital setting that handles some of the most complex cases in the region. Please note, first-time travelers and applicants within 100 miles of Omaha are not eligible for this role.
