Job Description:

This OR Tech / Surgical Tech position is an engaging contract opportunity working within Surgical Services, focusing on specialties such as Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, and Complex General Surgery, including Bariatric procedures. The role involves performing technical responsibilities during surgeries, supporting surgeons in the operating room, and managing equipment, all while working a 12-hour night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. With flexible hours averaging 36 to 40 hours weekly and a specific emphasis on complex procedures, this assignment offers a hands-on experience in a busy surgical environment with weekend and call commitments. Prior travel experience and minimum three years of OR tech experience in Level I Trauma and Neuro are preferred, along with certification in BCLS and familiarity with EPIC documentation systems.
