Job Description:

Join a specialized neuro-unit as a Registered Nurse focusing on medical-surgical patient care. This 13-week contract involves night shifts, working 12-hour nights from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with an expected commitment of 36 hours per week. You'll be part of a team that handles general medicine cases with a neuro focus, utilizing systems like Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR. The role prioritizes teamwork, patient safety, and adaptability, with experience in neuro or NIH preferred. Be prepared for potential float requirements and rotating weekend shifts, including participation in Storm or Hurricane Teams during emergencies. Staffing is managed via manager schedules, and orientation is 24 hours. Note that RTO (Request Time Off) is limited to a maximum of 7 days, and any additional time off could result in cancellation.
