Job Description:

This respiratory therapy position places you in the heart of a busy hospital unit, handling a diverse patient mix from NICU to geriatrics. You'll perform ABGs, administer breathing treatments such as BiPAP, CPAP, and vents, and assist with bedside bronchoscopies. While you won’t be doing EKGs, you'll have opportunities to assist with intubation and place LMAs. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts, with self-scheduling options, and provides the chance to work alongside experienced team leads in an environment that values teamwork and flexibility—sometimes being the sole RT on shift depending on staffing needs. This assignment offers a lively pace, with up to 30 treatments per shift depending on seasonal patient load, and requires certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, CRT or RRT, and NICU-specific credentials like STABLE and NRP when applicable. An engaging mix of challenge and opportunity awaits in this dynamic setting.
