Job Description:

Join a hospital in Ypsilanti as a dedicated oncology nurse for a 13-week contract. This position involves 12-hour daytime shifts, where you'll primarily support non-vesicant chemotherapy administration on the unit. Candidates with some oncology experience will find this role particularly rewarding, especially those who have completed the ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course or hold OCN certification. Your responsibilities will include assisting with chemotherapy protocols, patient care coordination, and ensuring safety standards are met in an organized, fast-paced environment. Experience with vesicant chemotherapy is a plus, but on-site training and specific certifications are required for more complex cases. Expect to work approximately 36 hours weekly in a role that combines clinical expertise with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
