Job Description:

This neuro medical-surgical RN contract offers a unique opportunity to work in a dedicated neuroscience unit specializing in stroke, spine surgery, seizure management, and brain tumors. You'll be providing patient care on a 54-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:5 during nights, handling complex neurological cases that require critical thinking and expertise in neuro telemetry and titratable drips like Heparin. The shift is 12-hour nights, giving you a consistent schedule with every other weekend and holiday requirements. Expect to collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, and support staff while delivering care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment that values experience and specialized neuro skills. This assignment is especially suited for travel RNs with prior neuro and trauma experience, ready to handle the rigors of a dedicated neuro unit without the need to float outside their scope unless necessary.
