Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you in a busy Intensive Care Unit at a reputable teaching hospital in Concord, NC. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you'll be responsible for managing complex patient cases such as trauma, post-surgical recoveries, and acute medical conditions. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing hands-on care in a fast-paced environment where you'll utilize advanced skills including chest tube management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and wound care. The unique aspect of this assignment is the opportunity to float within a regional network of facilities, adapting to different units while maintaining your expert level of care. You'll work with a supportive team that includes a charge nurse available around the clock, phlebotomy services, and respiratory therapy, all utilizing sophisticated equipment like EPIC EMR and Masimo monitors.
