Job Description:

Join a dedicated team in a well-equipped cardiovascular ICU for a 13-week travel contract as a Critical Care RN. This role places you in a 10-bed unit specializing in open heart recovery and post-operative care, where you will be responsible for caring for patients immediately following open heart surgery. Your day-to-day will involve operating advanced medical equipment such as A-lines, chest tubes, and ventilators, while providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients and their families. The position offers a unique opportunity to hone your skills in a high-acuity setting, working closely with a collaborative team of providers, charge nurses, and healthcare professionals. Past experience with open heart recovery and critical care is essential, and this assignment is perfect for an RN who thrives in a fast-paced, specialized environment.
