Job Description:
This CVOR Technologist role involves supporting a busy cardiac and vascular surgical unit with a focus on vascular cases, robotics procedures, and cardiac surgeries. The position offers opportunities to work in close proximity to cath lab services, where wire runs and circulating activities are common. Knowledge of the Da Vinci XI robotic system is a plus, and training can be provided for those without prior robotic experience. You'll be responsible for assisting with daily case loads, standby in vascular cases, and performing scrubbing duties when needed. The assignment is distinctive given the mix of cardiac, vascular, and thoracic cases, along with the chance to be part of a team that covers both CVOR and main OR services. Expect to work 10-hour shifts, with a focus on technical support, standby, and maintaining sterile and procedural standards.
