Job Description:

This OB RN contract offers a chance to work in a Level 1 maternity unit with a mix of labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursery duties. You'll be staffing two labor rooms and six postpartum beds, with an average of around 10 delivery cases monthly. The shift is a 12-hour night/variable schedule, giving you the opportunity to experience the rhythm of overnight healthcare while managing two moms and their babies on your night. Float requirements include coverage for L&D, GYN, Med/Surg, ER, or ICU tasks as needed, but you won't have patient assignments or isolation room responsibilities. Candidates should be confident in labor and delivery skills, adaptable to changing circumstances, and able to work independently or collaboratively with team members. This assignment provides a well-rounded experience in a critical access hospital setting, emphasizing teamwork and resilience.
