Job Description:

Join a high-energy high-risk obstetrics team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Anchorage, Alaska. This 13-week contract offers the chance to work in a Level II Trauma facility known for its magnet status and variety of complex cases. You'll be responsible for providing care during high-volume deliveries, managing antepartum and triage patients, and possibly stepping into charge nurse responsibilities if trained. The role requires a steady night shift schedule (3x12-hour nights) with guaranteed 60 hours biweekly, and minimal calling off, making it an excellent opportunity to experience the critical side of maternal health in a vibrant setting. Candidates must hold an active Alaska RN license and possess BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, and NRP certifications. Most shifts involve floating within scope to meet the facility's needs, and local candidates are not accepted.
