Job Description:

Join a prominent Level 3 Perinatal center in Seattle as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, where you'll care for childbearing women through antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages. This 13-week contract offers a unique opportunity to work within a high-acuity environment that handles approximately 150 births per month, with 70% being complex high-risk cases. Your shift will be nights, working 4x12-hour overnight shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with the flexibility to work a 3x12 schedule if preferred. Expect to manage a 1:1 patient ratio in a setting equipped with two C-section ORs, and partner with a second L&D RN serving as the "baby catcher" for well, non-compromised newborns. This assignment also involves providing outpatient services when the clinic is closed, in addition to working within a hospital with a Level 4 NICU, regional center for neonatal intensive care.
