Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract places you in a fast-paced Trauma ICU, where you'll be working 12-hour day shifts in Omaha, Nebraska. Ideal for experienced ICU RNs, this role involves managing critically ill adult and pediatric patients with trauma injuries, sepsis, strokes, ARDS, and other severe conditions. You’ll handle complex equipment like CVPs, IABP, and Impella, and perform titrations on medications including vasopressors and paralytics. The unit has a high acuity level, requiring sharp critical thinking, quick decision-making, and effective teamwork. Expect to be involved in troubleshooting ventilators, interpreting telemetry strips, and collaborating with charge nurses and patient care techs. The environment is intense but rewarding, offering an opportunity to sharpen your critical care skills in a reputable Level 1 trauma center.
