Job Description:

This contract opportunity calls for an experienced Registered Nurse to work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as a float nurse. The role involves covering 12-hour night shifts, providing specialized care to patients with cardiac, neurological, renal, and gastrointestinal needs. Expect to interpret dysrhythmias, manage IV therapies, and support patients through complex procedures like angiograms and cardiac surgeries. The position offers a chance to apply your charge and teaching hospital experience in a fast-paced environment, with some weekend and holiday shifts, including responsibilities spanning multiple MS/Tele, Neuro, and Stepdown units. It's a role designed for nurses comfortable with rapid response protocols, cardiac monitoring—both on-site and remote—and managing advanced medications, equipment, and procedures. The challenge is balancing acute care with education and teamwork, all within a vibrant hospital setting.
