Job Description:

Join the healthcare team as a registered nurse in the busy Emergency Department of a 170-bed hospital in Russellville, Arkansas. This contract offers 12-hour day shifts from 2p to 2a, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week over a 13-week period. You’ll provide vital acute care primarily to adult and geriatric patients, managing a range of medical-surgical conditions. This assignment is unique because you'll be working in a facility that is accredited by The Joint Commission, with a supportive team familiar with the Meditech EHR system. Expect to assess, plan, delegate, and coordinate patient care, responding to emergencies and completing documentation thoroughly. You will also handle medication administration, including IV therapy and blood products, all while maintaining patient safety and adhering to infection control standards.
