Job Description:

This ED case management position places you at a busy Chicago hospital, where you'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to support adult and geriatric patients, as well as children and adolescents in the emergency department. You'll be responsible for assessing complex cases, navigating various insurance plans, and connecting patients to vital community resources—sometimes in the midst of the fast-paced ED environment. The role is designed to prepare you for ED case management, even if you're new to this setting, with training provided upon arrival. Expect to float occasionally to inpatient units to ensure patient flow, making this an engaging and varied assignment. You'll thrive here if you bring strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and a team-oriented mindset.
