Job Description:

Join a dedicated Medical/Surgical team at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, Indiana, for a 13-week travel contract working night shifts. You will be providing care in a 32-bed unit, managing patients experiencing chest pain, abdominal pain, CVA/TIA, and other critical conditions. This role features a 12-hour night schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:30 AM, requiring strong assessment skills and the ability to think critically on your feet. Expect to float within your skillset across different campuses, including Deaconess Midtown and Henderson, with only a short notice for cross-campus shifts. You’ll work alongside excellent support staff, including LPNs and CNAs, and be involved in charting using EPIC. This assignment offers a chance to demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and advanced bedside skills in a fast-paced hospital environment while avoiding the usual patient care responsibilities—this role focuses on clinical and technical expertise.
