Job Description:

This Critical Care Float Registered Nurse position offers a chance to work across various ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac / Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine, and COVID units. You'll be expected to bring your independence and skills to float seamlessly between specialized ICU settings and inpatient floors, depending on staffing needs. The role involves providing critical care in high-acuity environments, managing hemodynamic devices like Swan-Ganz catheters, IABP, ECMO, and vasoactive drips. Experience in CV ICU is preferred, especially familiarity with procedures such as ventilator management, IV starts, and telemetry. The assignment includes nights on a 12-hour shift, with every other weekend or six weekends over a six-week schedule. The hospital values experienced professionals who can adapt quickly and work confidently across different units, ensuring excellent patient outcomes within a short-term acute care setting.
