Job Description:

Join a focused team of Registered Nurses in a 6-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a Bossier City hospital, providing specialized care for patients with CVA, TIA, and other acute conditions. This 13-week contract offers an engaging nursing experience with 12-hour night shifts, where you’ll manage complex cases such as arterial lines, tube feedings, and drip titrations like Levophed and Insulin. Celebrate the unique rhythm of night shifts while supporting a multidisciplinary team that includes hospitalists and resource nurses. You’ll pass an EKG competency exam, ensure proper management of CVL and Foley catheters, and navigate charting in Meditech Expanse. This assignment offers valuable clinical diversity and a chance to sharpen your skills in a supportive environment, all while enjoying a dedicated schedule that includes every other weekend and holiday work expectations.
