Job Description:

Join our team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Newark, NY, for an engaging 13-week contract challenging your expertise in full-spectrum obstetric care. This role involves independently managing patients through all phases of antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn nursing, with a focus on supporting women through their childbirth journey. You'll work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing high-quality care in a rewarding, fast-paced environment. This assignment offers hands-on experience with labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and neonatal care, all within a hospital setting where your skills will truly shine. You’ll be part of a dedicated team delivering maternal and newborn care, often collaborating with multidisciplinary staff to ensure positive outcomes. Your responsibilities will include charting with EPIC, managing patient needs independently, and handling on-call duties. New travelers with at least 1 year of recent hospital OB experience and NYC license are encouraged to apply.
