Job Description:

Join a respected Level 1 Trauma Teaching Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC, as a Respiratory Therapist specializing in NICU and Pediatric care. This 13-week contract offers a chance to work primarily during night shifts (12 hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM) in a facility with 885 licensed beds and a strong focus on excellence in trauma, stroke, and chest pain services. Your responsibilities will include managing a variety of patient cases such as post-surgical recovery, pneumonia, COPD, asthma, and ED patients, providing critical care across ICU and Medical/Surgical floors. Prior experience in high-acuity environments, familiarity with advanced respiratory equipment like Servo U, Servo Air, and HFOV, as well as required certifications (NC license, RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP for NICU/Peds), are essential. Collaboration is key, with a seasoned team of Lead Therapists fostering a supportive environment.
