Job Description:

This 13-week contract in Phoenix, AZ offers an engaging opportunity for experienced Medical-Surgical RNs with Level I Trauma experience. The position involves 12-hour day shifts on a busy observation unit with 21 beds, handling patients with conditions such as CP, syncope, post-op OBGYN, and trauma patients. RNs will be expected to perform sterile procedures, including Foley catheter insertions and central line dressing changes, in a setting that emphasizes sterile field maintenance and rapid patient turnover. The role demands strong time management, the ability to adapt to high turnover, and the competence to work with ventilators, titrate drips, and manage complex cases. Travelers will undergo SIMs Lab skills assessments and unit-specific orientation, with the chance to work alongside a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment.
