Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers an exciting opportunity to work as an ER nurse in a busy Level III trauma center. You'll be managing a wide variety of cases across all ages, with a focus on trauma bays, triage, and emergency procedures. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing a chance to experience a different side of emergency care while enjoying daytime hours off. Administering breathing treatments, performing ABGs, and managing ER holds are core parts of your daily routine. The hospital operates without a dedicated charge nurse, and ER nurses supervise their own holds, making this role ideal for experienced professionals comfortable working independently in a fast-paced setting. If you have at least two years of recent ER experience and hold certifications in TNCC, ACLS, PALS, and BLS, this could be the perfect fit for your skills. You will be working in an environment with state-mandated ratios and a supportive team, including MDs on duty and unit techs assisting during evening hours.
