Job Description:

Join a specialized child and adolescent inpatient unit in Bismarck, North Dakota, for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work in a locked facility on the fourth floor of the hospital, providing vital care in a setting that prioritizes active involvement and teamwork. The role involves 12-hour day or night shifts, with self-scheduling options and opportunities to work with both adolescent and adult populations, separated by a secure door. Expect to assist with patient monitoring, dose de-escalation, and participating in emergency procedures, all while supporting patients diagnosed with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, psychosis, bipolar disorder, and other behavioral conditions. Previous experience in acute inpatient or state hospital settings and strong communication skills are essential. This assignment offers a unique chance to be deeply involved with patient care in a high-stakes mental health environment without the need for extensive IV experience.
