Job Description:

This Cath Lab RN position in Peoria, Illinois, offers an engaging 13-week contract with 10-hour day shifts. As a Cath Lab nurse, you'll assist with approximately 4-20 cases daily, including complex procedures like TAVR, MITRACLIP, and PCI, with a focus on cardiovascular diagnostics and interventions. Your day will involve reading EKG strips, titrating drips, and supporting emergent cases. You’ll work within a specialized team, coordinating closely with cardiologists and charge nurses, and utilize advanced EMR systems like EPIC, GE, and Philips monitors. Expect to be part of a fast-paced environment with opportunities for on-call call shifts and weekend coverage, including emergency and backup roles, all while keeping patient safety at the forefront.
