Job Description:

This cath lab nursing assignment places you directly in the heart of a bustling hospital environment, working 10-hour night shifts over a 13-week contract. You'll provide specialized nursing care during complex cardiac procedures such as cardiac cath with intervention, device implants, and peripheral vascular work. The role involves administering conscious sedation, performing nursing assessments, and utilizing advanced equipment like EPIC, GE MAC LAB, and Impella. Experience in a large hospital setting with at least two years in a cath lab—and active ND or Compact RN licensure—is required. Expect a schedule of four 10-hour nights each week, with call duties every 2-3 weekends and one night per week. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team and float to other units as needed, all while being an essential part of life-saving procedures.
