Job Description:

This travel assignment places you in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, for a 13-week contract. Work 12-hour day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, providing specialized care within a busy Level II Trauma Pediatric ICU. Your role involves performing IV starts, blood draws, TPT placements, and assisting with general patient monitoring using CR monitoring equipment. You'll collaborate with a skilled team that includes intensivists, RN staff, RTs, and other specialists, all dedicated to treating critically ill children. This opportunity offers a chance to hone your skills in a teaching hospital environment, with the potential to gain valuable experience in pediatric critical care procedures and protocols. Be prepared to work under pressure, in a fast-paced setting, while supporting a team focused on delivering exceptional pediatric patient care.
