Job Description:

This travel healthcare assignment places you in a Level 2 Emergency Department that handles a high volume of 200-280 visits daily. You'll be working in a 44-bed trauma unit, providing critical support in a fast-paced, large hospital setting. The role involves 12-hour day shifts over approximately 13 weeks, giving you the chance to immerse yourself fully in a busy ER environment while enjoying a steady schedule. Expect to engage with a diverse patient population, including newborns, children, adults, and geriatric patients, with an emphasis on trauma care and emergency response. Certification requirements include IL licensure, AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with preferred credentials such as TNCC, ENPC, and ECRN. Every other weekend, and holiday rotations are part of the schedule, ensuring a well-rounded experience in emergency medicine.
