Job Description:

This 13-week contract opportunity places you in the fast-paced environment of the Aspirus Wausau Emergency Department. As an ER RN, you'll be working varied 12-hour night shifts—primarily between early morning and late evening hours—with the flexibility to occasionally cover late night to early morning shifts. Your role involves managing emergent patient cases in a trauma level II unit, drawing labs, administering neb treatments, and utilizing EPIC charting. The assignment also includes floating to neighboring facilities such as Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley, providing exposure to diverse clinical settings. Prior trauma experience and a strong ability to adapt quickly are essential. Guaranteed hours are 36 per week, with opportunities for low census hours and on-call pay during slow periods. This assignment is ideal for resilient, independent RNs committed to delivering quality care efficiently in a demanding but rewarding environment.
