Job Description:

Join our team as an Operating Room Technician in Norfolk, Nebraska, for a 13-week contract working primarily in the vascular and general OR settings. This role involves scrub assistance during a variety of cases including vascular surgeries, ortho total joints, GYN C-sections, urology, spine, ENT, GI, and general procedures. You'll work 8-hour shifts, with opportunities to be involved in high-volume caseloads, especially when vascular surgeon block times are scheduled. The position offers a chance to experience a diverse case mix, with the occasional complex hybrid vascular procedures. You’ll need at least 3 years of experience in an acute care setting and certification through NBSTSA or NCCT, along with BLS. This role requires strong adaptability and the ability to jump into different surgical environments on short notice, all while collaborating closely with charge nurses and house supervisors. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with daytime shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM—specific shift requests will be accommodated.
