Job Description:

Join us as a MICU Registered Nurse in Lexington, Kentucky, for a 14-week travel contract that promises both challenge and reward. You will be working in a Level One Trauma center, providing vital support to critically ill medical, surgical, and trauma patients. This role requires two years of ICU or Telemetry experience, including experience in teaching hospital settings, along with current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Your nights are scheduled for 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including a minimum of six weekend shifts. Please note, local candidates within 100 miles are not eligible. This assignment offers an engaging opportunity to utilize your expertise in a fast-paced trauma environment, while enjoying the distinct cultural and outdoor adventures the city has to offer. All licenses and certifications must be current and in hand before start, and requests for time off are limited to single days during the initial two weeks, with longer time off permitted afterward.
