Job Description:

Join our team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Kingsport, Tennessee. This role features 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) with an average weekly commitment of 48 hours. You will be working within a lively hospital environment, providing essential patient care in medical-surgical units, with an emphasis on Neurovascular Intensive Stroke Scale (NIHSS) assessments. The assignment offers the opportunity to float across units as needed, and you will participate in supporting nursing students and clinical education efforts alongside your regular duties. The schedule allows for flexibility, including every other weekend shifts, with orientation beginning online on Sundays. First-time travelers are welcome, and the hospital can cancel or call off shifts biweekly without penalty if census decreases. This is an excellent chance to expand your experience in a thriving healthcare setting while enjoying a supportive team atmosphere. Your experience should include at least two years in MS/Tele, and you must be within 100 miles of the facility with an active AHA BLS certification.
