Job Description:

Join a dedicated team at Wesley Birth Care Suites in Wichita as a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. This role involves providing care in a bustling Birthing Center unit with 29 beds and a staff of 20 professionals. You’ll work the night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a commitment of 36 hours per week. Your duties include monitoring fetal activity, managing postpartum and gynecological procedures, and supporting women through high-risk pregnancies and postpartum recovery. Expect to utilize Meditech EMR and advanced equipment like Welch Allen vitals machines, CPN monitors, and POC glucose testing. Candidates with postpartum, OB, or med-surg experience will find this assignment engaging and rewarding, especially those comfortable working with high patient ratios of 4-6:1 in a fast-paced environment.
