Job Description:

This 26-week travel RN position places you in the Orthopedic department of a hospital located in Peoria, Illinois, working 12-hour night shifts. You will be handling a variety of medical surgical, postoperative orthopedic, and trauma cases, often caring for patients with fractures and other surgical needs. Your routine will include managing patient loads of 4-5 per nurse, troubleshooting telemetry monitors, assisting with CPAP and heated high flow equipment, and collaborating with a dedicated primary charge RN each shift. Expect to participate in a short, guaranteed orientation of 12 hours and enjoy a schedule that includes every other weekend. Relish the opportunity to experience the hospital’s supportive environment, with house supervision available 24/7 and a team of nurse aides supporting patient care.
